Placebo è una band britannica di rock alternativo formatasi a Londra nel 1994. Il gruppo è noto per il suo sound dark e atmosferico, influenzato da generi come il post-punk, l'indie rock e la musica elettronica. Il frontman Brian Molko, con il suo look androggino e le sue performance teatrali, è un elemento distintivo del gruppo.
