The Suicide Machines sono stati una band punk rock americana formatasi a Detroit, Michigan, nel marzo 1991 e sciolta nel maggio 2006. Durante la loro carriera, hanno pubblicato sei album in studio per le etichette Hollywood Records e Side One Dummy Records. Sebbene abbiano subito diverse modifiche di formazione nel corso degli anni, i membri fondatori Jason Navarro e Dan Lukacinsky sono rimasti costanti. Lo stile musicale della band inizialmente mescolava elementi di punk rock, ska e hardcore in un genere noto come ska punk o "ska-core", che caratterizzava i loro primi due album. Nel bel mezzo della loro carriera hanno cambiato marcia, allontanandosi da questo sound e producendo due album con una forte influenza pop rock.
