J-Kwon, de son vrai nom Jerrell Jones, est un rappeur américain né à Memphis, Tennessee. Actif de 2003 à 2006, il a connu la gloire internationale avec le single "Tipsy", sorti en 2004 et devenu un succès planétaire. Le morceau, caractérisé par son rythme accrocheur et ses paroles ironiques, a dominé les classements musicaux américains et internationaux, consacrant J-Kwon comme l'un des rappeurs les plus populaires de l'époque. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
