Toxik sono una band statunitense di thrash metal tecnica originaria di Peekskill, New York. La band si è formata nel 1985 grazie al chitarrista Josh Christian e al bassista Lee Erwin. Dopo un periodo di attività intensa negli anni '80 e '90, culminato con l'album "World of Toxik" (1990), la band si è sciolta nel 1992. Nel 2007, i Toxik hanno annunciato il loro ritorno con una nuova formazione e sono attivi fino ad oggi. Nel 2014 hanno pubblicato un nuovo singolo, "Dangerous", anticipando l'uscita di un nuovo album. Il sound dei Toxik è caratterizzato da riff veloci e complessi, drumming aggressivo e melodie orecchiabili, influenzati dal thrash metal classico ma con una forte componente tecnica.
