System of a Down est un groupe de metal alternatif arméno-américain formé à Glendale, en Californie, en 1994. Le groupe se compose de Serj Tankian (chant), Daron Malakian (guitare, chant), Shavo Odadjian (basse) et John Dolmayan (batterie). Leur musique est caractérisée par un mélange de heavy metal agressif, d'influences folk arméniennes et de paroles politiques et sociales souvent satiriques. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
