O-Town est un groupe de musique pop américain formé à Orlando, en Floride, en 2000. Le groupe était composé d'Ashley Parker Angel, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, Erik-Michael Estrada et Dan Miller. O-Town a été lancé grâce à l'émission de téléréalité *Making the Band*, produite par Lou Pearlman, le même producteur derrière NSYNC et Backstreet Boys. Leur album de début éponyme, *O-Town*, sorti en 2000, a atteint la première place du classement Billboard Top 200 et vendu plus d'un million d'exemplaires aux États-Unis. Les singles les plus populaires du groupe incluent "Liquid Dreams", "All or Nothing" et "I Want You Back". Après une pause en 2003, O-Town s'est reformé en 2013 avec la formation originale (à l'exception de Dan Miller) pour un nouvel album et une tournée.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
