Dr. Feelgood è una rock band britannica formatasi a metà degli anni '70. Il nome del gruppo, slang per eroina o per medici disposti a prescrivere eccessivamente farmaci, deriva dal bluesman americano Willie Perryman (conosciuto anche come "Piano Red") che nel 1962 registrò la canzone "Dr Feel-Good" con il suo gruppo "Dr Feelgood and The Interns". La canzone fu poi reinterpretata da diverse band beat britanniche, tra cui Johnny Kidd and The Pirates, che la usarono come lato B di uno dei loro singoli. È proprio da qui, secondo alcune fonti, che il nome è stato preso dalla band. Dr. Feelgood ha raggiunto un grande successo negli anni '70 con un sound energico e bluesy, influenzando diverse band punk e new wave successive. Il gruppo ha pubblicato numerosi album e singoli di successo, tra cui "Down by the Jetty", "Milk and Honey" e "I'm a Stranger Here".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
