La Plastic Ono Band fu un gruppo musicale fondato da John Lennon e Yoko Ono nel 1968, poco prima dello scioglimento ufficiale dei Beatles. Più che una formazione stabile, la Plastic Ono Band era una sorta di "gruppo musicale virtuale", con Lennon e Ono come elementi fissi e un roster variabile di musicisti ospiti. Tra i membri più noti figura il bassista Klaus Voormann, l'unico a suonare in tutte le registrazioni della band. La musica della Plastic Ono Band si caratterizzava per un sound rock sperimentale e influenzato dal dadaismo e dalla psichedelia, con testi spesso introspettivi e politici. Tra i brani più rappresentativi ricordiamo "Give Peace a Chance", "Imagine" e "Working Class Hero". La Plastic Ono Band fu attiva fino al 1970, anno in cui Lennon si concentrò sulla sua carriera solista.
