Fine Young Cannibals sono un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Birmingham nel 1984 da David Steele (basso) e Andy Cox (chitarra), entrambi ex componenti dei The Beat, e dal cantante Roland Gift, precedentemente nei Akrylykz. Il loro successo internazionale è arrivato nel 1989 con i singoli "She Drives Me Crazy" e "Good Thing". Il sound del gruppo mescola elementi di pop, rock e ska, caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi ironici. L'album di debutto "The Raw and the Cooked", pubblicato nel 1985, ha riscosso un discreto successo in patria. Il loro secondo album, "Fine Young Cannibals" (1989), ha consacrato il gruppo al successo mondiale con i singoli citati precedentemente. Tra le altre canzoni rappresentative ricordiamo "I'm Not Satisfied" e "Suspicious Minds".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
