Killing Joke è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Notting Hill, Londra, nel 1979. Considerati pionieri del genere post-punk e progenitori del movimento goth rock, hanno influenzato profondamente la scena musicale alternativa con il loro sound oscuro, sperimentale e spesso aggressivo. L'unico membro fondatore ancora attivo è Jaz Coleman, cantante e frontman carismatico noto per le sue performance teatrali e visionarie. Tra i membri storici figura anche Geordie Walker (fino al 2023), chitarrista che ha contribuito a definire il sound distintivo del gruppo. Altri componenti chiave includono Youth (bassista) e Paul Ferguson (batterista). Killing Joke ha pubblicato un'ampia discografia, con album come "Killing Joke" (1980), "What's This For?" (1981) e "Revelations" (1986) che sono diventati classici del genere. I brani più rappresentativi includono "Eighties", "Love Like Blood", "The Wait", "Requiem" e "Pandemonium".
