Helix è una band canadese di hard rock/heavy metal formatasi nel 1974. Sono noti soprattutto per il loro singolo del 1984 "Rock You". La formazione originale era composta dal batterista Bruce Arnold, dal cantante Brian Vollmer, dai chitarristi Ron Watson e Rick "Minstrel" Trembley, dal tastierista Don Simmons e dal bassista Keith "Bert" Zurbrigg. La formazione più famosa, però, quella che ha inciso "Rock You", è stata quella degli anni '80: Vollmer al canto, accompagnato dai chitarristi Brent "The Doctor" Doerner e Paul Hackman, dal bassista Daryl Gray e dal batterista Greg "Fritz" Hinz. La storia della band è segnata da numerosi cambi di formazione, con Vollmer come unico membro costante e l'unico rimasto della formazione originale. Sebbene il chitarrista Paul Hackman sia morto in un incidente stradale nel 1992, i membri sopravvissuti della formazione degli anni '80 si sono riuniti nel 2009 per un album e continuano a fare tour nel 2010.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
