The White Tie Affair est un groupe de pop rock/électronique originaire de Chicago, Illinois. Le groupe se compose de Sean-P (guitare), Chris Wallace (chant), Tim McLaughlin (batterie) et Ryan McClain (claviers). En 2007, ils ont signé avec Epic Records/Slightly Dangerous et ont sorti leur album de début, *Walk This Way*, en avril 2008. L'album contient les deux singles du groupe, "Allow Me To Introduce Myself...Mr. Right" et "Candle (Sick and Tired)", tous deux diffusés sur MTV's TRL et The Hills.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
