Rhapsody of Fire (anciennement connus sous le nom de Thundercross et, auparavant, Rhapsody) est un groupe italien de power metal symphonique dirigé par Luca Turilli et Alex Staropoli. Depuis sa formation en 1993, le groupe a sorti huit albums studio, un album live, un EP et un DVD live. Leur style musical se caractérise par l'utilisation d'arrangements orchestrales, de chœurs et de mélodies épiques, souvent inspirés par des thèmes fantasy et mythologiques. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "Emerald Sword", "Lamento Ergo Sum" et "Power of the Dragon Flame". Les albums importants incluent "Symphony of Enchanted Lands" (1998) et "Dawn of Victory" (2000). En 2011, Luca Turilli a quitté le groupe pour poursuivre une carrière solo.
