Death Grips est un groupe américain de hip-hop expérimental formé à Sacramento, Californie, en 2010. Le groupe se compose de MC Ride (chant), Zach Hill (batterie) et Andy Morin (production). Ils sont connus pour leur son abrasif et non conventionnel, mélangeant des éléments de hip-hop, musique industrielle, noise et grindcore. Death Grips a sorti six albums studio entre 2012 et 2018, dont "Exmilitary", "No Love Deep Web" et "Bottomless Pit". Leur travail a été influent dans la scène musicale underground, avec des morceaux notables comme "Guillotine", "Spread Eagle Doves" et "Black Paint".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
