Secondhand Serenade è un progetto musicale emo-pop/rock nato dall'idea del cantautore, chitarrista e pianista statunitense John Vesely, originario di Menlo Park, in California. Attivo dal 2006, il progetto ha visto la pubblicazione di diversi album indipendenti, tra cui "Awake" (2007) e "A Twist of Fate" (2010), che hanno riscosso un discreto successo online. Il sound di Secondhand Serenade è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e arrangiamenti che mescolano elementi emo, pop e rock. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Your Call", "Fall for You" e "The Best of Me". John Vesely ha collaborato con altri artisti indipendenti e ha partecipato a tour musicali in tutto il mondo.
