Ultravox sono un gruppo musicale britannico di new wave formatosi a Londra nel 1973. Originariamente chiamati Ultravox! (con il punto esclamativo), il nome richiamava quello del gruppo tedesco Neu!. Dopo i primi due album, hanno eliminato il punto esclamativo. Il loro sound si è evoluto dal progressive rock iniziale ad un synth-pop più elettronico e melodico, influenzando profondamente la scena new wave degli anni '80. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con l'album *Vienna* (1980), che include i singoli "Vienna", "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes" e "The Voice”. Midge Ure, cantante e compositore, è diventato il volto del gruppo dopo aver sostituito John Foxx nel 1979. Altri membri importanti sono stati Billy Currie (tastiere) e Chris Cross (basso). Ultravox hanno pubblicato diversi album di successo negli anni '80, tra cui *Rage in Eden* (1981), *Quartet* (1982) e *Lament*. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
