Gli Steel Train sono stati una band indie rock americana formatasi a New York nel 1999, guidata dal talentuoso Jack Antonoff. Antonoff, noto per la sua carriera successiva come produttore e musicista solista, ha fondato il gruppo insieme ad altri membri provenienti da diverse esperienze musicali. Gli Steel Train hanno raggiunto una certa popolarità negli anni 2000 grazie al loro sound caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e un'energia live contagiosa. Il loro album di debutto, "The Logic of the Universe", pubblicato nel 2003, ha segnato l'inizio della loro ascesa. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo ricordiamo "I Want to Be Your Boyfriend", "You Can't Stop Me" e "The Last Time". Dopo diversi anni di attività, gli Steel Train si sono sciolti nel 2010, lasciando un segno indelebile nella scena indie rock americana. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
