Opiate For The Masses était un groupe de post-hardcore originaire d'Arizona. Ils se sont formés à Phoenix en 1999 par Ron Underwood, Elias Mallin, Dustin Lyon et Jim Kaufman. Le nom du groupe vient d'un prétendu aphorisme de Karl Marx selon lequel la religion organisée n'est que l'opium des masses. En juin 2009, ils ont annoncé sur leur page MySpace qu'ils avaient rompu et qu'ils s'étaient séparés. Ron Underwood chante actuellement pour Beezlewood.
