Les Delgados étaient un groupe écossais de rock indépendant formé à Motherwell en 1994. Composé d'Emma Pollock (chant, guitare), Stuart McAlpine Fidler (guitare, chant), Alasdair MacLean (basse) et Paul Harkin (batterie), ils ont connu une certaine popularité dans les années 90 et le début des années 2000 avec un son caractérisé par des mélodies accrocheuses, des paroles introspectives et des arrangements raffinés. Leur album de début, "The Great Eastern", est sorti en 1997 et a marqué le début d'une carrière ponctuée d'albums acclamés par la critique tels que "Since When" (2000) et "Hate and Love" (2002). Le groupe s'est séparé en 2005 après une tournée mondiale. Parmi les chansons les plus connues des Delgados, on trouve "The Light", "I'm Not Your Man", "Come On, Come On" et "Always Right Always Wrong".

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
