Powerman 5000 est un groupe américain de metal alternatif, originaire de Boston et actif depuis 1991. Le groupe est dirigé par Spider One, chanteur et leader, frère cadet du célèbre musicien Rob Zombie. La musique de Powerman 5000 se caractérise par un son agressif et industriel, avec des influences du métal, du rock industriel et de la new wave. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "When Worlds Collide", "Nobody's Real" et "Supernova Goes Down". Leur album de début, "Mega!! Mega!!
