Disturbed è un gruppo musicale statunitense di heavy metal alternativo formatosi nel 1994 a Chicago, Illinois. Il loro album di debutto, *The Sickness* (2000), ha riscosso un enorme successo grazie al singolo «Down With The Sickness», che è diventato un inno del genere e ha raggiunto la vetta delle classifiche musicali in molti paesi. L'album stesso ha venduto oltre tre milioni di copie negli Stati Uniti, ottenendo il triplo disco di platino. Il secondo album, *Believe* (2002), ha debuttato al primo posto nella classifica Billboard 200 e ha raggiunto lo status di disco di platino. Il terzo album, *Ten Thousand Fists* (2005), ha continuato il trend di successo, debuttando anch'esso al primo posto. Disturbed è noto per le sue performance energiche dal vivo e per la potente voce del cantante David Draiman.
