John Foxx, pseudonimo di Dennis Leigh, è un cantautore, musicista e fotografo britannico nato nel 1951. Iniziò la sua carriera negli anni '70 come frontman del gruppo post-punk The Ultravox!, raggiungendo il successo con album come *Vienna* (1980) e singoli come «Dancing with Tears in My Eyes». Dopo aver lasciato il gruppo nel 1982, Foxx ha intrapreso una carriera solista di grande successo, esplorando generi elettronici e ambient. Tra i suoi album più noti figurano *The Garden* (1983), *Metamatic* (1984) e *The Age of Consent* (1986). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
