Barry White (1944-2003) è stato un cantante, compositore e produttore discografico statunitense, considerato uno dei pilastri del soul romantico. Nato a Los Angeles, la sua infanzia fu segnata da difficoltà sociali e legami con gang giovanili. Dopo una breve esperienza carceraria, iniziò a dedicarsi alla musica negli anni '60, dapprima come membro di gruppi musicali e poi come solista.
