Kevin Ayers è stato un cantautore, chitarrista e bassista inglese nato nel 1944. Considerato uno dei pilastri della scena musicale di Canterbury, ha influenzato profondamente la musica psichedelica e progressive internazionale. Ayers si distinse per i suoi lavori solisti, ma fu anche membro fondatore dei Soft Machine alla fine degli anni '60. La sua vita fu segnata da un'esistenza nomade: trascorse l'infanzia in Malesia, poi visse a lungo in Spagna e Francia. Ayers collaborò con numerosi artisti di spicco, tra cui Brian Eno, Phil Manzanera, Mike Oldfield, Andy Summers, Ollie Halsall, Robert Wyatt, Daevid Allen, Syd Barrett, Elton John, Nico e John Cale. Tra i suoi album più importanti ricordiamo *The Whole World* (1970) e *Shooting at the Moon* (1972). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
