Dr. Feelgood est un groupe de rock britannique formé au milieu des années 1970. Le nom du groupe, argot pour l'héroïne ou pour les médecins prêts à prescrire des médicaments en excès, vient du pianiste et chanteur de blues américain Willie Perryman (également connu sous le nom de « Piano Red ») qui a enregistré la chanson « Dr Feel-Good » avec son groupe « Dr Feelgood and The Interns » en 1962. La chanson a ensuite été reprise par plusieurs groupes beat britanniques, dont Johnny Kidd and The Pirates, qui l'ont utilisée comme face B d'un de leurs singles. Selon certaines sources, c'est à partir de là que le nom a été repris par le groupe. Dr. Feelgood a connu un grand succès dans les années 1970 avec un son énergique et bluesy, influençant plusieurs groupes punk et new wave ultérieurs. Le groupe a sorti de nombreux albums et singles à succès, notamment « Down by the Jetty », « Milk and Honey » et « I'm a Stranger Here ».

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
