Chris Brown est un chanteur, danseur et acteur américain. Né à Tappahannock, Virginie, en 1989, il a atteint la renommée internationale au début des années 2000 avec son album de début "Chris Brown". Son style musical repose principalement sur le R and B, la pop et l'hip-hop, caractérisé par des mélodies accrocheuses et des performances énergiques. Parmi ses succès les plus notables figurent "Run It!", "With You" et "Forever", ce dernier une collaboration avec Drake et Lil Wayne. Brown a remporté de nombreux prix musicaux, dont un Grammy Award pour la meilleure performance vocale R and B d'un duo ou groupe. Cependant, sa carrière a été marquée par des controverses liées à des comportements violents envers son ex-petite amie Rihanna en 2009. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
