Monks of Doom est un groupe américain de rock alternatif formé dans les années 1990. Actif depuis environ 1990, le groupe a sorti plusieurs albums et bandes originales, notamment « Soundtrack to the Film 'Breakfast on the Beach of Deception' » (1992), « The Cosmodemonic Telegraph Company » (1994) et « Forgery » (1996). Parmi les membres les plus connus figurent Chris Pedersen, Victor Krummenacher et David Immergluck. Leur son est caractérisé par des ambiances sombres et expérimentales, avec des influences progressives et psychédéliques. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives, on peut citer « The Insect God », « Meridian » et « Forgery ».
