Yes est un groupe de rock britannique formé à Londres en 1968. Considéré comme l'un des piliers du rock progressif, il a atteint la renommée internationale dans les années 1970 avec des albums tels que *Fragile*, *Close to the Edge* et *Going for the One*. Leur son se caractérise par la complexité musicale, l'utilisation d'instruments orchestrales, des mélodies enveloppantes et des paroles souvent philosophiques. Parmi les membres fondateurs figuraient Jon Anderson (chant), Chris Squire (basse), Peter Banks (guitare) et Bill Bruford (batterie). Au cours des années, la formation a subi plusieurs changements avec l'arrivée de musiciens tels que Steve Howe (guitare), Rick Wakeman (claviers) et Alan White (batterie). Yes a vendu plus de 30 millions d'albums dans le monde entier et a été intronisé au Rock and Roll Hall of Fame en 2017. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent *Roundabout*, *Owner of a Lonely Heart* et *Starship Trooper*.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
