Lil Jon, né Jonathan Mortimer Smith, est un rappeur, producteur de disques et DJ américain originaire d'Atlanta, Géorgie, né en 1971. Connu sous le nom de « Roi du Crunk », Lil Jon a contribué de manière significative à la popularisation de ce genre musical caractérisé par des rythmes rapides, des basses puissantes et des paroles énergiques. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
