Carl Terrell Mitchell, connu professionnellement sous le nom de Twista, est un rappeur américain né à Chicago en 1973. Il a commencé sa carrière musicale à l'âge de 14 ans, adoptant le nom d'artiste Tung Twista. Il est célèbre pour sa vitesse incroyable de rap et ses capacités vocales, ce qui en fait l'un des rappeurs les plus influents des années 90 et 2000. Son style caractéristique, un mélange de flux rapide et de rimes complexes, a inspiré des générations d'artistes hip-hop. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
