Blondie est un groupe américain de new wave formé à New York City en 1974. La formation originale comprenait Debbie Harry (chant), Chris Stein (guitare), Clem Burke (batterie) et Gary Valentine (basse). Après avoir joué dans des lieux légendaires comme CBGB et Max's Kansas City, ils ont signé avec le label Private Stock. Leur son, un mélange de punk américain et de new wave, leur a valu un succès international dans les années 1970 et 1980. Parmi leurs chansons les plus célèbres figurent "Heart of Glass", "Call Me" et "Rapture". Blondie s'est séparée en 1982 mais s'est reformée en 1997, continuant d'enregistrer et de se produire à ce jour.
