Peter Dennis Blandford Townshend, plus connu sous le nom de Pete Townshend, est un musicien britannique né à Londres en 1945. Il est considéré comme l'un des guitaristes et auteurs-compositeurs de rock les plus influents, surtout connu pour son rôle de leader et de guitariste principal du groupe légendaire The Who.
