Diamond Head è una band heavy metal britannica formatasi nel 1976 a Stourbridge, in Inghilterra. Considerati uno dei pilastri del movimento New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM), hanno influenzato profondamente gruppi successivi come Metallica e Megadeth. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da riff pesanti, melodie accattivanti e una forte componente vocale, ha contribuito a definire l'identità del heavy metal britannico degli anni '80. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Am I Evil?", "The Prince", e "Helpless". L'album di debutto omonimo (1980) è considerato un classico del genere NWOBHM, mentre il loro secondo lavoro, "Lightning to the Nations" (1981), ha consolidato la loro posizione all'interno della scena metal internazionale.
