Young Gunz sont un duo de rap américain originaire de Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie. Composé de Young Chris (né Chris Ries en 1984) et Neef Buck (né Hanif Muhammad en 1984), le groupe fait partie du collectif State Property de Beanie Sigel et a été précédemment signé chez Roc-A-Fella Records. Leur single de début, "Can't Stop, Won't Stop", a été l'un des 20 meilleurs dans les classements Billboard de 2003. D'autres titres notables incluent "The Way We Do It" et "Let Me In".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
