O.A.R. (Of A Revolution) est un groupe de rock américain formé à l'Université d'État de l'Ohio en 1996. Composé de Marc Roberge (chant, guitare), Richard On (guitare), Chris Culos (batterie), Brian Jones (basse) et Benj Gershman (claviers), le groupe a gagné en notoriété grâce à un son qui fusionne des éléments de rock alternatif, folk et reggae. O.A.R. est connu pour ses performances live énergiques et ses paroles introspectives qui explorent des thèmes tels que l'amour, la perte et la recherche de sens. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
