Pinkly Smooth était un groupe américain de metal avant-gardiste actif de 2001 à 2006. Originaire de Huntington Beach, en Californie, le groupe se caractérisait par un son expérimental et innovant qui mêlait des éléments de heavy metal, de jazz fusion et de musique électronique. Parmi leurs morceaux les plus représentatifs figurent "The Ballad of the Broken Heart", "Pinkly Smooth" et "The Last Supper". Le groupe a sorti deux albums studio : "Pinkly Smooth" (2003) et "The Last Supper" (2005). Malgré la brièveté de leur carrière, Pinkly Smooth a laissé une empreinte indélébile sur le paysage musical underground, influençant de nombreux groupes ultérieurs.
