Insolence est un groupe de nu metal formé à San Jose, en Californie, en 1995. Leur musique incorpore des éléments de rap, reggae et hardcore, créant un mélange musical distinctif et énergique. Le groupe a sorti deux albums pour des labels importants : *Revolution* sur Maverick Records et *Stand Strong* sur Warner Bros. Records. En 2007, ils ont sorti leur septième album studio, *Audio War*, via le label indépendant Powerslave Records.
