Machel Montano est un chanteur, producteur de disques et compositeur trinidadien basé à Trinité-et-Tobago. Considéré comme l'un des artistes de soca et calypso les plus influents au monde, il est né à Port of Spain en 1974. Il a commencé sa carrière musicale à l'âge de sept ans, se produisant dans des spectacles locaux avec le groupe familial 'The Montano Family'. Tout au long des années 1990, il s'est imposé comme artiste solo, obtenant de nombreux succès commerciaux et récompenses.
