Skid Row è una heavy metal band americana formatasi nel 1986 a Toms River, New Jersey. I membri fondatori sono Rachel Bolan (basso) e Dave "The Snake" Sobo (chitarra). Completò la formazione originale Matt Fallon (voce), Scotti Hill (chitarra) e Rob Affuso (batteria). Nel 1987 Sebastian Bach sostituì Fallon alla voce, portando il gruppo al successo internazionale. Skid Row ha pubblicato tre album di platino negli anni '90: "Skid Row" (1989), "Slave to the Grind" (1991) e "Subhuman Race" (1992). Bach fu licenziato nel 1997, seguito da una serie di cambiamenti nella formazione. Nel 2000 la band ha pubblicato un nuovo album con Tony Harnell alla voce, ma senza il successo precedente. Skid Row continua ad esistere e a esibirsi dal 2016 con Johnny Solinger (ex-Whitesnake) come cantante. I brani più rappresentativi includono "18 and Life", "I Remember You", "Youth Gone Wild" e "Big Guns".
