Green Day est un groupe de rock américain formé à Berkeley, en Californie, en 1987. Composé de Billie Joe Armstrong (chant, guitare), Mike Dirnt (basse) et Tré Cool (batterie), le groupe a connu une immense popularité dans les années 1990 grâce à son album "Dookie" (1994), qui a vendu plus de 10 millions d'exemplaires. Green Day est reconnu pour son son punk rock énergique, ses paroles souvent introspectives et satiriques, ainsi que sa forte connexion avec les fans. Parmi ses succès les plus célèbres figurent "Basket Case", "Longview", "When I Come Around", "American Idiot" et "Boulevard of Broken Dreams".
