Atsushi Sakurai (1968-2017) è stato un musicista giapponese, noto soprattutto per essere stato il batterista e vocalist del gruppo rock "The Pillows". Nato a Tokyo nel 1968, Sakurai ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 con The Pillows, band che ha contribuito a definire l'estetica e il sound del movimento "Shibuya-kei".
