The Fall étaient un groupe de post-punk anglais formé à Prestwich en 1976. Le seul membre constant du groupe tout au long de son histoire a été le chanteur Mark E. Smith, connu pour sa personnalité provocante et son style vocal unique. La formation a subi de nombreux changements au fil des ans, avec Paul Hanley (batterie) et Steve Hanley (basse) parmi les membres les plus anciens. Le son de The Fall se caractérise par des riffs de guitare tranchants, des rythmes puissants et des paroles souvent sombres et surréalistes, influencées par la musique industrielle et le krautrock. Les albums notables incluent *Hex Enduction Hour* (1982), *This Nation's Saving Grace* (1985) et *The Infotainment Scan* (1990). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
