Current 93 è un gruppo musicale sperimentale britannico eclettico attivo dal primo decennio degli anni '80. Fondato nel 1982 da David Tibet (nato David Michael Bunting, ribattezzato 'Tibet' da Genesis P-Orridge prima della formazione del gruppo), il progetto si caratterizza per un approccio folk a volte oscuro e visionario, mescolando elementi di musica tradizionale, psichedelia, drone e poesia. Current 93 ha collaborato con numerosi artisti, tra cui Coil, Nurse With Wound e The Legendary Pink Dots, contribuendo a definire l'estetica del dark ambient e dell'experimental music. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano 'Earth Accomplice', 'The Stars Are Not For Us' e 'Aleister Crowley'.

Avec 7 albums à leur actif, le groupe est une source d'inspiration et de créativité au niveau mondial, au cours de ces 20 années il n'a cessé d'influencer le paysage musical et de créer des tendances.
