Radney Foster est un auteur-compositeur et musicien américain né à Del Rio, au Texas, le 20 juillet 1959. Connu initialement comme compositeur à Nashville, il a fait ses débuts en 1986 en formant le duo Foster and Lloyd avec Bill Lloyd. Le duo a sorti trois albums pour le label RCA Records entre 1986 et 1990, obtenant neuf singles dans les classements country. Après la séparation du duo, Foster a lancé une carrière solo réussie, publiant plusieurs albums acclamés par la critique. Parmi ses chansons les plus connues figurent "Just What I Do", "I Will Be Here" et "The River's Gonna Rise".
La chanteuse de renom Rihanna et le rappeur A$AP Rocky ont récemment fait la une des journaux du monde entier en dévoilant le nom de leur deuxième enfant.
