Blaque est un trio vocal américain de R and B/Hip Hop ayant vendu plus d'un million d'albums. Le nom du groupe, acronyme de « Believing in Life and Achieving a Quest for Unity in Everything », reflète leur philosophie musicale centrée sur l'unité et l'inclusion. Connu à l'origine sous le nom de Blaque Ivory, le trio est composé de Shamari Fears (chanteuse principale), Brandi Williams (chanteuse) et Natina Reed (rappeuse et auteure-compositrice). Blaque a vendu plus de 1,5 million d'albums aux États-Unis et plus de 2 millions dans le monde. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
