Infectious Grooves est un groupe de funk metal mené par le chanteur des Suicidal Tendencies, Mike Muir. Le groupe comprend également le guitariste Adam Siegel (ex Excel), le bassiste Robert Trujillo (ex Suicidal Tendencies, maintenant dans Metallica) et le batteur Stephen Perkins (ex Jane's Addiction). Active entre 1991 et 2000, le groupe a sorti quatre albums. Leur son fusionne l'énergie du thrash metal avec des grooves funk et des influences latines, créant un mélange original et énergique. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "Lyin' to Myself", "Take It Back" et "The Sickness".
