UB40 è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Birmingham nel 1979. Il nome deriva da un modulo di richiesta di sussidi per disoccupati, UB40. Il genere musicale del gruppo è principalmente pop-reggae, con influenze ska e dub. Tra i brani più famosi di UB40 figurano "King/Food For Thought", "Red Red Wine", "Can't Help Falling in Love" e "Here I Am (Come and Take Me) ". Il loro album di debutto, *Signing Off* (1980), raggiunse la seconda posizione nella classifica britannica. L'album *Labour of Love* (1983) segnò il successo internazionale del gruppo, raggiungendo la prima posizione in UK e l'ottava in Billboard 200 negli Stati Uniti. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
