David James Archuleta (born 28 dicembre 1990) è un cantautore statunitense di origini messicane. Noto per la sua voce potente e melodica, Archuleta ha raggiunto la fama internazionale partecipando alla settima stagione del talent show americano American Idol nel 2008, dove si è classificato secondo. Dopo il suo percorso ad American Idol, Archuleta ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui l'album di debutto omonimo "David Archuleta" (2008) e "Christmas from the Heart" (2009). Il suo genere musicale spazia dal pop al gospel, con influenze R and B. Archuleta è noto per brani come "Crush", "My Back to You" e "Something 'Bout Love". Nel 2012 ha annunciato una pausa dalla musica per dedicarsi a un'esperienza di missione in Sud America.
