Shadow Gallery est un groupe américain de metal progressif formé dans la Lehigh Valley, en Pennsylvanie, au début des années 1980, initialement sous le nom de Sorcerer. Après avoir changé son nom en Shadow Gallery (pris du roman graphique V for Vendetta d'Alan Moore) et enregistré un court démo de 8 pistes, le groupe a été signé par Magna Carta Records en 1991. L'album éponyme de Shadow Gallery est sorti l'année suivante au Japon et en Europe. Au milieu de 2005, Shadow Gallery a sorti son cinquième album studio, Room V, sur le label indépendant européen-américain InsideOut. Le groupe est connu pour sa musique complexe et mélodique, qui fusionne des éléments de rock progressif, de metal symphonique et de power metal. Parmi ses morceaux les plus représentatifs figurent 'The Shadow Gallery', 'Room V', 'A New Dawn'.
