The Whitlams sono una rock band australiana con sede a Sydney. Fondati nel 1993 da Tim Freedman (voce, chitarra), Stevie Plunder (basso) e Andy Lewis (batteria), il gruppo ha raggiunto un notevole successo negli anni '90 e 2000 grazie al loro sound caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e una forte componente folk. Tra i brani più famosi di The Whitlams figurano "No Aphrodisiac", "Blow Up the Pokies" e "Everlasting Everything". L'album di debutto del gruppo, "Eternal Nightcaps", pubblicato nel 1995, ha riscosso un grande successo in Australia. The Whitlams sono noti per le loro performance dal vivo energiche e coinvolgenti.
